  • LIQUIDS UP TO 2 LITERS ALLOWED IN CARRY-ON LUGGAGE FOR PASSENGERS DEPARTING FROM MARCONI AIRPORT

Starting today, July 28, in compliance with the new ECAC (European Civil Aviation Authority) regulations and with the green light from ENAC, thanks to the new "EDS C3" X-ray machines installed at Bologna Airport for several months, all passengers departing from Marconi Airport are permitted to carry liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAGs) in containers of up to 2 liters per container, leaving them in their carry-on luggage. This eliminates the previous limit of 100 ml per container, for a maximum of 10 containers in transparent plastic bags that must be presented separately.

Bologna Airport is one of five airports in Italy that allow the application of the new regulation. For all other airports, the 100 ml per container limit remains in place.

Stockholm

Swedish capital, it offers unforgettable panoramas among the 14 islands on which it rises, connected by 57 bridges. For this feature it is also known as the ‘Venice of the North’.

It boasts one of the best preserved Medieval historical centres, Gamla Stan, a maze of cobblestone alleyways where handicraft shops, antiques stores, art galleries and cafés follow one another.
In Gamla Stan, original nucleus founded in 1252, is also found the Royal Palace. Main tourist attraction of this area, it was built in the XVIII century in an Italian Baroque style. It counts over 600 rooms and houses five museums.

The Medieval centre is home to the National Swedish cathedral (Storkyrkan) and the Nobel Museum.
Of Storkyrkan’s original Gothic building (XIII century), only the stones are left. The cathedral was entirely rebuilt in the XVIII century.
The multimedia Nobel Museum is instead sited in a wonderful 1700s palace. Here it is possible to learn about the history of the prize and the Nobel laureates from 1901 until the present day.
