From the glass dome of the Rhine Tower, at 590 feet of height, a spectacular panorama can be enjoyed with a view on the harbour and on Medienhafen district.
Situated under the tower and accessibile through a nice walk along the river, Medienhafen boasts futuristic-shaped structures. In particular, the ‘dancing’ buildings of Frank Gehry stick out, one of the major architects belonging to the Deconstructivism.
The district is considered the centre of the nightlife along the Rhine, counting many hot bars and venues.
Other recommended spots are the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen, modern art museum; St. Lambertus church; Jägerhof castle and the Baroque St. Andreas church.
