  • ARRIVALS FROM SPAIN

    Passengers are advised that the reintroduction of entry border controls between Italy and Spain, effective from 1st of August, will not entail any changes for Italian, Spanish, or other EU citizens travelling to Italy. They will continue to be able to enter the country without any additional administrative requirements.

    The checks will apply only to third-country nationals arriving from Spain, in order to verify their eligibility to enter Italy. This measure will remain in force for one month, unless otherwise communicated.

    In compliance with the Italian Government's provisions, flights arriving from Spain will be processed through the non-Schengen Arrivals area, and checks will be carried out exclusively on third-country nationals.

Preveza/Lefkada

Lefkada Island, or Leucade, belongs to the Ionian Islands archipelago.
Easily accessible from the Preveza seaport through the moving bridge that connects it to the land, it is greatly appreciated for the beauty of its turquoise sea and the thriving vegetation: an ideal destination for sports lovers.

Lefkada city, main town of the island, is found in the northern part of the homonymous island, and it develops around a small natural harbour.
In the village it is possible to visit the nice churches of Aghios Nicolaos, Aghios Dimitrios, the church of Pandocrator, the church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary as well as the Panaghia Faneromeni Monastery (a few miles from the centre).

Thanks to its constantly windy coastline, kite surfing lovers will find Milos beach, Mili and the Lagoon ideal places.
As for windsurfing, the favourite sites are Vassilikie bay and Aghios Ioannis beach.
Lefkada is also the ideal place for trekking and mountain biking lovers, offering many paths and inland routes.
