WORKS ON THE PONTELUNGO - TRAFFIC CHANGES
WORKS ON THE PONTELUNGO - TRAFFIC CHANGES
Passengers are informed that, from 13 January 2022 until the end of the works, the Pontelungo on via Emilia Ponente in Bologna will be affected by consolidation and maintenance works, with partial closure to vehicular traffic.
In particular, it will be established a one-way traffic in the direction of Bologna center. For vehicles heading to the airport, transit on the bridge will not be allowed; the recommended alternative route to reach the airport will be: via Pertini, viale Togliatti, via della Pietra, via Emilia Ponente and then via Triumvirato. The detour will also affect the lines of urban public transport.
The alternative route may require longer travel times, so we invite you to consider it to reach the airport in a reasonable time.
Cycle and pedestrian traffic will be able to continue to circulate in both directions, on the pavement of the bridge free from the construction site. Bicycles must be carried by hand.
For more information, we kindly ask you to consult the website of the Municipality of Bologna (sorry, in italian only) thank you.
