EXPLOSION ON BOLOGNA MOTORWAY, ROAD ACCESS TO BOLOGNA AIRPORT
Huge explosion at Borgo Panigale - Bologna: the airport is not involved, flights are running regularly.
However, due to the temporary closure of part of the ring road ("Tangenziale di Bologna"), passengers can experience some difficulty to reach the airport.
In particular, the ring road is closed from exit n.2 to exit n. 3 in direction "San Lazzaro": passengers have to use the ordinary city road system, following the signs of deviation.
The ring road in direction "Casalecchio" is totallly open, so that passengers can reach the Airport by the exits n. 4 or n. 4 bis.
All motorways near Bologna Airport are open in both directions.
For more info about road conditions, please go to Autostrade per l'Italia website.
