Starting from the 2nd May 2016, airberlin will operate its first service from Bologna to Dusseldorf. The three daily flights offer travelers from Bologna a frequent travel option to the capital of the important economic region North-Rhine Westphalia. Furthermore, 24 destinations within Germany, Europe and worldwide are reachable with only one stop and convenient connection times. The new flights are integrated into the codeshare agreement with Alitalia.
Susanna Sciacovelli, VP International Sales at airberlin said during the press briefing at Bologna Airport: “Italy is one of the most strategic makets for airberlin and Bologna with its significant business sector is a valuable addition to our route portfolio. We look forward to welcoming travelers from Bologna on board our flights to Dusseldorf and beyond – for example to the US and the Caribbean. Furthermore, we offer international travelers coming to Italy a frequent flight option to Bologna. Our goal is to continuously improve our network between Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
