  • LIQUIDS UP TO 2 LITERS ALLOWED IN CARRY-ON LUGGAGE FOR PASSENGERS DEPARTING FROM MARCONI AIRPORT

Starting today, July 28, in compliance with the new ECAC (European Civil Aviation Authority) regulations and with the green light from ENAC, thanks to the new "EDS C3" X-ray machines installed at Bologna Airport for several months, all passengers departing from Marconi Airport are permitted to carry liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAGs) in containers of up to 2 liters per container, leaving them in their carry-on luggage. This eliminates the previous limit of 100 ml per container, for a maximum of 10 containers in transparent plastic bags that must be presented separately.

Bologna Airport is one of five airports in Italy that allow the application of the new regulation. For all other airports, the 100 ml per container limit remains in place.

COVID-19: important information for our car parks customers

30/03/2020

Due to the management of the COVID-19 emergency and related containment measures, in order to reduce as much as possible the discomfort of customers who were unable to pick up their car from our car parks on the scheduled date due to the lockdown, we inform that our company, Aeroporto G. Marconi di Bologna, as manager of the airport car parks, will not charge any additional cost to the one due for the scheduled parking.

Regardless of the parking space used, we invite customers to go to the parking control office (Presidio Parcheggi) located at the base of the P2 multi-storey before picking up their car and, if they have not booked a parking space, to bring their plane ticket stating the scheduled dates of entry and exit from the parking lot.

Our operators have been enabled so that the cost of excess parking days will not be charged.
Any future request for reimbursement will not be taken into consideration.
Thank you for your cooperation.
