Logiscan compact

Operating with seven stations, this service allows passengers to autonomously check the weight and dimensions of their hand luggage through an easy-to-use machine, cross-referencing the data collected with those of the airline. The passenger can therefore arrive at the boarding gate with the confidence that their baggage complies with the rules of their carrier.

Once again, Bologna Airport proves to be at the forefront of innovation in Italy, being the first airport to have introduced this technology.

The company is now aiming for an increase and expansion of the service, with the deployment of five more machines.

The Logiscan compact is the evolution of the Logiscan machine, a solution designed and patented by Bologna Airport for baggage measurement and boarding pass inspection, which in 2013 was awarded the Prize for Innovation by the President of the Republic.
