  • LIQUIDS UP TO 2 LITERS ALLOWED IN CARRY-ON LUGGAGE FOR PASSENGERS DEPARTING FROM MARCONI AIRPORT

Starting today, July 28, in compliance with the new ECAC (European Civil Aviation Authority) regulations and with the green light from ENAC, thanks to the new "EDS C3" X-ray machines installed at Bologna Airport for several months, all passengers departing from Marconi Airport are permitted to carry liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAGs) in containers of up to 2 liters per container, leaving them in their carry-on luggage. This eliminates the previous limit of 100 ml per container, for a maximum of 10 containers in transparent plastic bags that must be presented separately.

Bologna Airport is one of five airports in Italy that allow the application of the new regulation. For all other airports, the 100 ml per container limit remains in place.

Copenhagen

The city is the homeland of the Little Mermaid, or rather it is the adoptive city of Hans Christian Andersen. The fairy-like atmosphere is mantained all over the Danish capital, among castles, museums, gardens, and a centre full of art and architecture.

A visit to the city should start from the Mermaid’s statue, its symbol monument. Realised at the beginning of 1900 by Carl Jacobsen, it dwells right at the entrance of the city’s harbour.
Another spot worth visiting is the round Gefion fountain, representing the birth of Zealand.

The city centre is located near Radhuspladsen square, right in front of the Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen’s green lung. Here is found one of the oldest amusement parks in Europe.

Also interesting are the Renaissance Rosenborg Castle, Amalienborg Palace, in Rococo style, home of the Royal Family; the Parliament, rising on top of the ruins of the old city castle and known as the Christiansborg castle.
