  • ARRIVALS FROM SPAIN

    Passengers are advised that the reintroduction of entry border controls between Italy and Spain, effective from 1st of August, will not entail any changes for Italian, Spanish, or other EU citizens travelling to Italy. They will continue to be able to enter the country without any additional administrative requirements.

    The checks will apply only to third-country nationals arriving from Spain, in order to verify their eligibility to enter Italy. This measure will remain in force for one month, unless otherwise communicated.

    In compliance with the Italian Government's provisions, flights arriving from Spain will be processed through the non-Schengen Arrivals area, and checks will be carried out exclusively on third-country nationals.

Mersa Matruh

Egyptian seaside resort on the Mediterranean, it is the last stronghold of the Berber people before the Libyan borders, among white beaches and waters with all possible turquoise shades, from see-through light blue to dark blue.
Once only frequented by local tourism, it has become in a few years an international increasingly popular destination thanks to the terrific seaside and the uncontaminated shores.

Pay a visit to the wonderful Almaza Bay, ‘pearl’ in Arabic, around which most of the tourist facilities have been settled.
The most famous and beautiful beach in Marsa Matruh is the wild Ageeba beach, situated 6.2 miles from the city.
The word Ageeba means ‘wonderful’ in the Arabic language, for the intense light blue colour of the sea that wets it and its outstanding location, nestled like a gem between two mountains.

Other inviting beaches to relax on are Shat Al Gharam, the lovers’ beach, Cleopatra and Rommel Beach, as well as El Obayed beach where it is possible to catch sight of deserted, still unexplored dunes in the distance.
