  • ARRIVALS FROM SPAIN

    Passengers are advised that the reintroduction of entry border controls between Italy and Spain, effective from 1st of August, will not entail any changes for Italian, Spanish, or other EU citizens travelling to Italy. They will continue to be able to enter the country without any additional administrative requirements.

    The checks will apply only to third-country nationals arriving from Spain, in order to verify their eligibility to enter Italy. This measure will remain in force for one month, unless otherwise communicated.

    In compliance with the Italian Government's provisions, flights arriving from Spain will be processed through the non-Schengen Arrivals area, and checks will be carried out exclusively on third-country nationals.

Monastir

A town in Tunisia, this city is able to combine history and sea, amid breathtaking beaches and spectacular architecture.
Among the main attractions, Marina Cap-Monastir, in front of which the Sidi Al Gadamsi islands, Lostaniah and the Kuriate archipelago emerge from crystalline waters.
Also the Skanes area is renowned, where the majority of tourist facilities have been established.

It’s not only the sea that dominates the scene in the city, set in the southern part of the Gulf of Hammamet.
The Ribat of Hartema is unmissable, a monastery-fortress built in stages between the XIII and the XIX century. Today the courtyard is used as stage for theatre pieces and night shows.

The Ribat houses the Islamic Museum.
Here is found an interesting coins collection dating back to the X and XI century, Quranic inscriptions from the VIII and XII centuries, fabrics, glass items, bronze objects, ancient Tunisian ceramics, jewellery and a 927 AD astrolabe from Córdoba.
