  • BAD WEATHER IN BOLOGNA - UPDATE 21 OCTOBER
    Bologna Airport is open and operational as usual, flights are regular.
    The road situation has improved overall, but there are still some inconveniences on the access and exit routes from the airport.
    In particular, the underpass on Via Triumvirato is open in the central lanes and from Bologna center towards the Airport, while the passage from the Airport towards Bologna center is still closed. Alternative route marked on site.
    Furthermore, the exits of the Tangenziale road are still closed: 4 Triumvirato, 3 Ramo Verde and 2 Borgo Panigale.
    Exit 4bis Airport is open.
    The "Marconi Express" train station - airport connection is running regularly.

  • NOTICE OF WORK AT THE AIRPORT

    Passengers are advised that from 16 September we resumed the work of upgrading spaces and replacement of machines at security controls, with remaking of floor and reduction of access lanes to the boarding hall. We have already activated 4 new machines before the summer, now we are working on the activation in successive phases of another 4 machines, to make security checks easier and faster.

    We apologize for the inconvenience, we are working to make our airport more comfortable and efficient.

29/06/2020 In order to thank health workers who have been coping with the Covid emergency in the last few months, from 1st July to 30th September Bologna Airport will be offering free entrance to Marconi Business Lounge (MBL) to all physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals departing from Bologna.
Free access for health workers plus a companion is accorded simply by showing the Lounge staff a valid professional ID.
On 1st July Marconi Lounge will reopen to passengers after Covid-19 emergency giving a tribute to health workers who struggled against the outbreak on the front lines. “You Care, We Thank” – this is the catch phrase that will appear on the socials and the Airport’s monitors to promote the initiative.

But this is not enough. Bologna Airport is also launching a promotional offer for all the passengers who will purchase an entrance to MBL through the Airport’s website or directly at the Lounge. A special 50% discount on parking will be accorded in combination with the lounge service. In this case, all passengers – not only health workers – can enjoy the special offer, valid for all available parking until 30th September. Passengers can report directly to MBL staff to benefit by the parking discount.

Marconi Lounge will therefore reopen with its usual exclusive and outstanding services and all necessary steps have been taken to grant the utmost health safety.
Besides enhanced cleaning, the number of seats has been reduced to grant guests proper distance, buffet service was replaced by bar service with an operator and newspapers are offered when registering in the lounge.
The Lounge will be open every day from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
