At the Bologna Airport the World Congress of lawyers and consultants of the airport sector
Organized by WALA - Worldwide Airports Lawyers Association – 2017’s conference will take place in the beautiful city of Bologna from 18 to 20 January 2017. Bologna joins Prague, Madrid, Lisbon, Dallas, Amsterdam, Montreal, Buenos Aires and Athens as cities which have hosted a WALA conference and played host to a gathering of airport and air transport legal issues from around the world.
During the conference’s two days in Bologna delegates will explore a range of the most topical issues relating to business regulation and airport activities, with particular attention being paid at next year’s conference to safety, technological innovation and the "Passenger Experience".
In presenting the event, the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Bologna Airport, Nazareno Ventola, says: “Bologna has been an historical meeting place for the "modern legal community" for more than 900 years, since the foundation of the oldest University in Europe and in the World. Today we're happy to confirm this tradition in a meeting place of the new Century like our airport, under challenging and stimulating times”.
Bologna Airport hopes that the initiative will be also the occasion for a special meeting of international guests with the Bologna area, being already in the pipeline targeted initiatives in order to promote local territory.
Registration for WALA 2017 has already opened with early registration discounts being available up to 30 September 2016. For further information, please visit: www.wala.aero/conferences.
