TRAVEL TO AND FROM ABROAD
ENTRY / RETURN TO ITALY - RULES IN FORCE FROM 31 JULY TO 25 OCTOBER 2021
All passengers entering Italy are required to fill in the digital passenger locator form "DIGITAL PLF - PASSENGER LOCATOR FORM" before entering the national territory. We invite you to read all the information for completing the new PLF form on the website of the Ministry of Health.
It should be noted that the self-declaration must always be shown to the Border Police on paper.
Furthermore, passengers entering Italy following a stay or transit in the preavious days in the Countries of the C list - Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Ciprus, Croazia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Hungary, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Andorra, Principality of Monaco - have to passengers present the COVID-19 GREEN CERTIFICATION (law decree 22 April 2021), which alternatively shows:
- anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination occurred, with certification of completion of the prescribed vaccination cycle for at least fourteen days;
- healing from COVID-19, with simultaneous cessation of the prescribed isolation following infection with SARS-CoV-2;
- carrying out, in the forty-eight hours prior to entry into the national territory, of a rapid or molecular antigen test with negative results for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
For those arriving from the UK it is mandatory to undergo a molecular or antigenic test, carried out with a swab and negative result in the 48 hours prior to entering the Italian territory, but FROM 31 AUGUST THERE IS NO LONGER THE OBLIGATION TO QUARANTINE FOR 5 DAYS.
With reference to travel to and from abroad, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs prepared a FORM ONLINE to answer all passengers' doubts, we advise you to fill it in for an official answer on each situation and Country.

ATTENTION: to go to the COUNTRIES OF LIST E (which also includes TURKEY but no more ALBANIA and UKRAINE) it is still necessary to fill in the SELF-DECLARATION form on the reasons for the move. We ask you to print and fill it out.
