Barcelona

From the architectural realizations in the Gothic Quarter to Gaudi’s Catalan Modernism, passing through the Ramblas, thumping heart of the Catalonia's 'movida', ending up in front of the artistic masterpieces sheltered in the Picasso Museum and the Juan Mirò Foundation.
These are a just a few among the jewels that Barcelona boasts, first and main Catalonian centre and second Spanish city, one of the most original harbour -metropolis nestled in the Mediterranean region.

The city has managed to retain various characters: in a relatively small diametre many treasures succeed one another, like the Cathedral, one of the best examples of the Catalan Gothic style, the extraordinary realizations of the architect Gaudì like Casa Batllò, Casa Milà, the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, up until the Futuristic creations like the Sail of the W Hotel and the Torre Agbar.

At night, on the Ramblas, the boulevard joining Plaza de Catalunya to the Columbus Monument, looking into the sea, tourists are projected onto the thumping heart of the Catalonian life, among buskers , flowers and the typical tapas bars.
