How can I reserve a parking space?

If you book online or by telephone, you will receive immediate confirmation. If you book by email, your confirmation will be sent to you.

Having made a reservation, what do I do on the day of departure?

Go to the entrance of the car park where you have made your reservation. Press the button to call the operator (see below) and communicate your reservation code. Then take your ticket from the machine.

Is there a map which shows me the way to the parking area where I have made my reservation?

If you have made your reservation online, you can download a map of the parking area, with the access route highlighted, when you have completed your reservation. In any case, maps can be downloaded from the specific pages (P1-P2, P3, P4) in the Parking section.

When does my reservation start and how long can I stay if I make a parking reservation on line?

For administrative reasons, it is not permitted to make a parking reservation less than 24 hours before you want the period to start.
The minimum length of stay permitted is 24 hours.

Are there discounts or conventions for people who purchase tickets for travel through an agency and/or tour operator?

Bologna Airport has conventions with various agencies and tour operators. You can check whether your agency or tour operator is one of them in STEP-1 of your online reservation.

Are parking charges lower if I am travelling using a city car?

Special parking spaces for city cars (vehicle of a maximum length of 2.50m) can be found in parking areas P1-P2 at reduced prices. To obtain discounted rates, just go to the parking attendant on the day of your arrival at the car park area.

What is the CAR VALET service?

The CAR VALET service is located in the P2 multi-storey car park and includes custody, care and maintenance of your vehicle. While you are away you can take advantage of our reserved area where you can request a routine service or special repairs.

Can I drop my car off in the departure area?

Yes, if you have booked this service through Car Valet, you can leave your car with a member of airport staff who will take care of parking arrangements for you until you return. The service, known as "Quick Drop Off", can be reserved on our website using the online parking reservation service.

Can I have my car serviced while I am away?

The Car Valet service allows you to request various routine or urgent services for your car (carwash, refuelling, MOT, etc.). These services will be carried out by authorised mechanics near the airport, all while you are away.

Where are the coach parking areas?

There are various parking areas for coaches in a special zone to the right of the terminal building.

Can I bring my camper van to Bologna Airport?

Yes, our attendants will assign you with the parking space most suitable for the size of your camper van.

Are there covered parking areas and, if so, where are they?

Yes, P1, P2 and P3 are multi-storey buildings.
Parking areas P1 and P3 are 50% covered, area P2 is completely covered.

How much does it cost to make a parking reservation?

Reservations, subject to availability, are free of charge.

How much do I have to pay if I cancel a reservation?

There is no penalty for cancelling reservations.

Are parking reservations obligatory?

No, it is a service offered to our customers, subject to availability.

Where can I park if I need to pick someone up from the airport?

Where can I park if I need to pick someone up from the airport? We advise those who want to get to the arrivals area and park for a short time to go to the Express Car Park.

Where can I park if I need to drop someone off at departures?

We advise those who want to get to the departures area and drop someone off to go to the Express Car Park Area 1.

How can I remember where I parked my car?

The area where you have parked is printed on the ticket you receive. You can note the section, floor and row in the spaces provided on the back.

When do I pay for my parking?

Payment must be made before collecting your car.

How and where do I pay?

You can pay by cash, credit card and debit card.
  • You can pay in cash at the pay stations or at the office;
  • You can pay by credit card at the pay stations or at the exit barrier
  • You can pay by debit card at the office.
