The site of Bologna Airport covers an area of 2.450.000 m² and boasts a newly extended 2,800 metre-long runway, which was opened in July 2004. The new track has allowed an increase in the number of long-distance flights being offered, including intercontinental destinations as far as 5,000 sea miles away. We now offer flights to the coast of North America, the Caribbean, South Africa and the Indian Ocean, without compromising quality of service and security at the Airport.
